Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0 – 6 July 2026. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the purchase of tickets for, and admission to, Chronosphere Festival 2026 (the "Festival"), taking place from 18 to 20 September 2026 at Parque de Lazer do Baião, Góis, Portugal (the "Venue"). They also govern use of this website and registration for updates.

The Festival is organised and promoted by João Camilo & Joana Ribeiro, Lda., a company registered in Portugal with registered number (NIPC) 519189574 and registered office at Rua Luciano Assunção Antunes, 7, Mestras, Cadafaz, 3330-018 Góis (the "Organiser", "we", "us"). Contact: info@chronospherefestival.com.

By purchasing, holding, transferring or using a ticket, or by entering the Venue, you ("you", the "Ticket Holder") accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not purchase a ticket and do not enter the Venue. By using this site and registering, you also accept these Terms.

Tickets have been sold through our authorised primary ticketing provider WeeZTix. Remaining tickets are sold at the door. WeeZTix checkout terms apply to online purchases in addition to these Terms.

1. Tickets, prices and fees

1.1. A ticket is a personal, revocable licence to attend the Festival on the date(s) shown on it, subject to these Terms. It is not a transfer of any other right.

1.2. Prices are shown at checkout in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable. Booking, service, handling and payment-processing fees are set by the ticketing provider, are additional to the ticket face value, and are non-refundable except where these Terms or mandatory law provide otherwise.

1.3. A ticket is only valid if purchased through WeeZTix, at the door, or another channel expressly authorised by us. We are not responsible for tickets bought from any unauthorised source, which may be void and refused at the gate.

1.4. Each ticket has a unique code. It is valid on first scan only; if a code is presented more than once, admission is granted to the first valid scan and refused thereafter. Keep your ticket confidential and do not share screenshots.

2. Right of withdrawal (cooling-off period)

2.1. Under Portuguese law, tickets for leisure events supplied for a specific date are exempt from the 14-day right of free withdrawal (Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, art. 17.º, n.º 1, al. l)). Accordingly, purchases are final at the point of sale and there is no automatic right to cancel and be refunded.

2.2. The refund and resale provisions in Clauses 3 and 4 apply instead, and are offered by us in addition to – not in substitution of – your mandatory statutory rights.

3. Discretionary (goodwill) refunds

3.1. Although not legally required to do so (Clause 2), we operate a goodwill refund policy. We will consider a refund of the ticket face value (excluding fees under Clause 1.2) where the Ticket Holder is unable to attend for one of the following reasons, supported by documentary evidence:

• (a) serious illness or injury of the Ticket Holder, evidenced by a medical certificate;
• (b) bereavement – the death of the Ticket Holder or of a close family member (spouse/partner, child, parent or sibling);
• (c) serious travel disruption outside your control, such as a cancelled or significantly delayed flight or other scheduled transport, evidenced by the carrier's confirmation; or
• (d) other exceptional and comparable circumstances, assessed at our reasonable discretion.

3.2. To request a goodwill refund you must email info@chronospherefestival.com with your order reference and supporting evidence as soon as reasonably possible, and in any event no later than 7 days after the last day of the Festival.

3.3. Goodwill refunds are made to the original payment method. They are not available where the ticket has already been used, resold or transferred, or where the request is unsupported by adequate evidence.

3.4. If you are unable to attend for a reason not covered above, we encourage you to resell your ticket through an authorised channel under Clause 4.

3.5. This goodwill policy is discretionary, is decided case by case, and does not create any entitlement or precedent.

4. Resale and transfer

4.1. Tickets may only be resold or transferred through our authorised resale channels: TicketSwap and Tixel, integrated with WeeZTix. A resale or transfer through these channels reassigns the ticket code to the buyer and voids the original.

4.2. Resale prices on the authorised channels are capped at or near face value in accordance with each platform's policy. Selling or offering a ticket above face value, or through any unauthorised channel (touting), is prohibited.

4.3. Any ticket that is resold or transferred outside the authorised channels, sold above the permitted price, or offered as part of an unauthorised package or promotion, may be cancelled without refund, and admission may be refused, without liability to us.

4.4. You may not use a ticket for advertising, promotion, competition or hospitality purposes without our prior written consent.

5. Admission and conduct

5.1. Minimum age. The Festival is strictly 18+. Valid photo ID (Citizen Card, passport or equivalent) may be required at entry and when purchasing age-restricted goods. We may refuse entry where age cannot be verified.

5.2. Wristband. On entry your ticket is exchanged for an RFID wristband, which must be worn on the wrist and kept intact for the entire Festival. Do not take the wristband off. If it is lost or damaged, go to the gate or box office and follow staff instructions. A removed, tampered-with or damaged wristband is void and non-transferable. Re-entry to the Venue is permitted using a valid wristband unless we notify otherwise.

5.3. Cashless payments. The Festival operates on a cashless RFID system operated by our cashless provider (IDASFEST). Top-ups are credit for the purchase of goods and services at the Festival. Any unspent balance may be refunded on request submitted through the cashless platform within 30 days after the end of the Festival. A refund administration fee of €1.50 applies per refund request and is deducted from the amount returned; balances equal to or below €1.50 cannot be refunded. When requesting a refund you may choose to donate all or part of your balance to the Festival's reforestation and sustainability initiatives. After the 30-day request period, any unclaimed balance is retained by the Organiser.

5.4. Searches and security. Entry is conditional on submitting to reasonable searches of persons and belongings. We may refuse entry to, or eject without refund, any person who: presents an invalid ticket; is or appears intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances; carries prohibited items; behaves in a way that is unsafe, abusive, discriminatory or unlawful; or fails to comply with these Terms or the instructions of staff and security.

5.5. Prohibited items include, without limitation: illegal drugs and substances; weapons; fireworks and flares; glass; professional recording, photographic or drone equipment; own alcohol; open flame, camping stoves and cooking equipment; and any item we reasonably consider dangerous. Smoking is allowed. Prohibited items may be confiscated.

5.6. Health and safety. Attendance is at your own risk. Live music is loud and we recommend hearing protection. You are responsible for your own belongings; we are not liable for loss of or damage to personal property save as provided by law.

6. Camping and glamping

6.1. Camping is included in the 3-day pass. Glamping is available as a paid add-on purchased through WeeZTix, subject to availability.

6.2. Camping and glamping are governed by these Terms together with the camping-specific rules published on our website (including check-in/out times, pitch allocation, fire and safety rules, and quiet hours). See the camping page.

6.3. We may relocate pitches, and refuse or remove from the camping area any person in serious or repeated breach of the camping rules, without refund.

7. Programme, changes, cancellation and postponement

7.1. Line-up and programme. The advertised line-up, timings, stages and programme are subject to change. Changes to individual artists or set times do not entitle you to a refund, exchange or compensation.

7.2. Cancellation by us. If the Festival is cancelled in its entirety, you will be entitled to a refund of the ticket face value. Fees under Clause 1.2 are refundable only to the extent the ticketing provider or mandatory law provides.

7.3. Postponement / partial event. If the Festival is postponed, your ticket will remain valid for the rescheduled date. If it takes place over a reduced number of days or with materially reduced content, we may offer a partial refund or credit at our reasonable discretion.

7.4. Force majeure. We are not liable for any cancellation, postponement, curtailment, delay or change caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including (without limitation) extreme weather, fire, wildfire risk, flood, epidemic or pandemic, acts of authority, licence refusal or revocation, strikes, terrorism, or failure of essential utilities or infrastructure. In such cases our liability is limited to the refund provided under Clauses 7.2–7.3, where applicable.

8. Image and recording rights

8.1. The Festival is a public event that will be filmed and photographed. By attending, you consent to your image, likeness and voice being captured and used by us and our partners, without payment, for coverage, archival and promotional purposes across any media. 9. Accessibility and inclusion

9.1. Chronosphere is committed to being accessible and neuro-inclusive. We provide accessible facilities and low-stimulation / quiet spaces. Companion tickets are free, with carer documentation. The adapted glamping unit is booked by email.

9.2. If you have accessibility or sensory-support requirements, please contact info@chronospherefestival.com in advance so we can plan appropriate provision. Reasonable adjustments do not alter the ticketing terms above. Accessibility information is also on our accessibility page.

10. Data protection

10.1. The Organiser is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with ticketing, entry (including RFID wristbands and cashless transactions), security (including CCTV) and communications, in accordance with the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and Portuguese Law n.º 58/2019.

10.2. Full details of what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and your rights (access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and complaint to the CNPD) are set out in our Privacy Policy. Data-protection contact: info@chronospherefestival.com.

11. Liability

11.1. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11.2. Subject to Clause 11.1, and to the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with your ticket and attendance is limited to the price paid for your ticket, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Complaints and dispute resolution

12.1. Complaints may be submitted at any time through the Electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico) at www.livroreclamacoes.pt, or by email to info@chronospherefestival.com.

12.2. In the event of a consumer dispute, you may have recourse to an alternative dispute resolution (RAL) entity under Portuguese Law n.º 144/2015. The territorially competent entity is the CNIACC – Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt). A list of entities is available at www.consumidor.gov.pt.

13. General

13.1. Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of Portugal (Comarca de Coimbra) have jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules and to your right to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence where the law so provides.

13.2. Amendments. We may update these Terms; the version in force is the one published on our website at the time of purchase, identified by the version date above.

13.3. Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

14. Website use

Registering on this website lets us keep you informed about Chronosphere Festival. Registration is not a ticket and does not guarantee entry, a ticket, or any particular price or availability. Please give accurate information so we can contact you.

We will only contact you through the channels you consented to (email, SMS and/or WhatsApp). You can withdraw consent or unsubscribe at any time – see our Privacy Policy.

The Chronosphere name, logo, branding, text, imagery, video and design on this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them without our prior written permission. You agree not to misuse the website – including attempting to disrupt it, access it unlawfully, submit false information, or use it for any unlawful or harmful purpose.

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that information is always complete or up to date. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and without limiting Clause 11, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website.
