Coming from Portugal or Spain?
There's no train to Góis – everything goes via Coimbra first, then a BusWay SIT bus or taxi for the last leg.
From Portugal
CP – Comboios de Portugal runs Alfa Pendular and Intercidades services to Coimbra-B from Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro and Braga. Rede Expressos and FlixBus also serve Coimbra (from ~€5–16).
Search trains on CPFrom Spain
By car, or by coach to Coimbra – there is no practical rail link from Spain to Góis. International coaches and long-distance services can drop you at Coimbra; from there, continue as below.
Coimbra → Góis
Line 201 is the only BusWay SIT line that reaches Góis (~1h25 when direct). Line 238 takes you as far as Vila Nova de Poiares, where you change onto the 201. Weekend services are limited – always confirm before you travel. A taxi takes under an hour. SIT Região de Coimbra · CM Góis timetables.
Coimbra buses
Every official connection is in the Coimbra ↔ Góis timetable below. Saturday has none in either direction – arrive Friday if you are coming by bus.

Most people are coming by car, sharing a lift, or in a campervan. If you are on public transport, every official Coimbra–Góis bus is below – including Saturday, when none run. Arrive Friday if you can. See you there.

In either direction. Arrive Friday. Leave Sunday or Monday.
Friday 18 September – arriving
Six connections on Friday. The 14:30 and the 21:30 express need no change of bus.

Where to get off
Three stops serve the site, and which one you get depends on your bus.
Góis (Vila) – 12 minutes on foot, served by every connection. If in doubt, this is your stop.
Góis (Beira Rio) – closest at 5 minutes, but only the 14:30, 16:15 and 18:15 connections stop there, arriving 15:51, 17:54 and 19:49.
The Friday 21:30 express calls at Góis (São Paulo) 22:20 and Góis (Vila) 22:23 – not Beira Rio. The Sunday 18:00 calls at Góis (Escolas) 19:21 and Góis (Vila) 19:22.
